My name is Rana, I’m a wife and a mother.  I love to cook, and I never shy away from trying new exotic recipes.  I come from a Middle Eastern background where cooking is a fundamental part of life.  Gathering around a home-cooked meal is a sacred part of the daily routine.  Cooking skills are passed on from generation to generation, so it becomes a defining part of your persona.  In my case, the journey began after I got married, and eventually cooking became a hobby for me.  I even kicked it up a notch or two and took several cooking classes to hone my techniques.

Our Mediterranean cuisine is very colorful and relies on greens and fresh vegetables as main staple in addition to meats, poultry, fish, legume, and dairy products.
